The V.A.T is a PVS-14 tethers that mounts your PVS-14 to your helmet with bungee like retention.
Built to Last We don’t cut corners. These are laser-cut from high-strength, USA-made materials and sewn right here in the States by Shadowborn Gear.
The shock cord loops through the anchor point on the PVS itself, and has Velcro on the bottom to stick it to your helmet. The top is also Velcro so you can still attach things on top of it. The rest of the shock cord reaches all the way to the back of the helmet so it can be clipped under or tied to an anchor.
While the Velcro is strong enough to support the weight of the PVS-14 on its own, we always recommend a "redundancy first" mindset. The V.A.T. gives you that extra layer of security so you can focus on the mission, not your mount.
